I think this is more of my personal preference over anything, but I do not like the way the door functions on this model. I like the doors that open downwards because that is what I am used to for my oven, other toaster ovens, and even my dryer. So a door that lifts up and over seems a little odd to me. Not only that it seems like this would be a hazard over time if it starts to get older and the hinges get looser, I could see this falling on top of the hand when you are trying to get some food out or not having it locked in place and having it fall down.
