When you are making coffee with a 12 cup coffee maker you know how impatient you can get when you have to wait for the pot to finish brewing so you can get your first cup in. At least I know that is my husband and with some of the models of coffee makers we have used, they do not have a pause feature. You may ask yourself what is a pause feature? Now this is an interesting question because my husband likes his coffee to the point it puts hair on his chest. However, I prefer the strong coffee that is not going to kill you like his will. With that being the case, we are going to love the fact that this is a mixer that makes it easier for you to adjust the strength of the coffee. The downside is you need to have a carafe for each strength or you could have some problems in getting the strength toned down for each of you.

When you wake up in the morning you may want to have your coffee ready to go. At least I know that is what I like to have. However, some of the coffee makers do not make it easier for you to set up the timer. With the KitchenAid maker it is actually very easy to program and get the coffee maker ready to be used for the next morning. So you do not even have to wake up in the morning and start your coffee as long as you fill up the water before you go to sleep and remember to put the coffee in the maker.

We have to admit we did not think we would really care for this KitchenAid coffee maker that much. However, it did grow on us and really has taken shape as a decent coffee maker. We like the fact this is a coffee maker that is going to take and make it easier for you to get the cup of coffee that you want to have. You will also want to make sure you look at this coffee maker because of the easy to use timer, but also the ability to set the brew strength before you go to bed. Throw in the fact the water reservoir is removable and you have a great coffee maker that can keep you loaded in coffee for years to come.
