The Holiday Inn Vacation Club is one of those hotels that will try to sell you time shares when you are on the location. However, I found by reading the reviews online, that it is a great place to stay in. You just have to be patient because the staff in one review said it seems like the staff asked them almost every time they seen them. The best part is the Holiday Inn is very close to walking distance to the main strip, which will make it easier for you to go shopping in the middle of the day or in the evening.
With the Holiday Inn Vacation Club, it does provide very comfortable rooms for you to sleep in at night. You will also find the Holiday Inn has the great brand name for you to rely on. So you do not have to be concerned about the hotel not providing you with the same comforts you have come to expect with the rest of the brand name.

Here is the Clarion Inn and Suites. This is a hotel that is located right on the main strip and will keep you busy for a long time. The hotel has quite a large number of balconies that will help keep you full of the views. You will find you have a couple of different views depending on where your room is situated. The front part of the hotel will provide you with views of the city, but the backside of the hotel gives you balconies that looks back to the mountains.
With the Clarion Inn, you will also find they are going to have some of the best access to the parkway and restaurants. In fact, if you stay at another location and end up walking down to town, you will find in all likelihood you will walk by the entrance of this hotel. So you will want to keep this in mind if you plan on walking down to the strip for any period of time.

Yes these are both hotels, but you need to realize these hotels are different in some ways. So you will want to look at this aspect to guarantee you do not make a bad choice in the hotel you decide between.
Holiday Inn has an outdoor pool for you to enjoy when the weather is permitting versus the Clarion where it is all indoors.
The Holiday Inn provides a kitchenette, but the Clarion only provides you with a free breakfast.
