As you can tell, we are a sucker for the Miele brand in the vacuum when you are trying to deal with your dogs hair. I know that for me, I have a cheaper model of vacuum because I cannot afford an expensive vacuum and it often means that I have pet hair left behind no matter what I have done with the vacuum or even how many times I have went over the floor. To that end, I have decided to showcase the Miele S8380 canister vacuum as the main vacuum that we have really fallen in love with while we are looking at the different pet hair vacuums. Normally you would never think about this, but you need to realize with this type of vacuum it will be very difficult to clean at times, which is not what you want. The way that I have found for Miele, is they do not use the rotator button that is so common on most of the vacuum models. Instead, it uses a very simple to use and easy to use + and – button. This way you are never going to get lost on which level of the vacuum setting you are on.

When you are using a vacuum you often dread having to get around your furniture and behind it especially where the dog and cat hair seems to accumulate in piles so large that you cannot get them out without a snow shovel. However, Miele has taken this into account and has managed to find some of the methods that are going to help you in getting to clean up these areas by providing you with the Parquet Twister, which is part of the head of brushes and going to make it easier for you to rotate it to the location you need to have it to clean behind the furniture.
Cable Rewind Made Simple
When you are working on getting your carpet cleaned up, you will generally have to unwind quite a bit of the cord on your vacuum and it is a major pain in getting the cord wound back up. Miele has really taken that into account when they were developing this unit because it has a one touch cord rewind feature. I will warn you that if you are using this feature you need to use it slowly at first or you could end up hurting yourself while it is coming back into the system.

Drawbacks Of The Miele S8380
As with any of the products that you are going to look at, you will quickly notice their are some drawbacks that you are going to have to deal with. Unfortunately the Miele S8380 has some of these drawbacks as well and this is where you may have some issues. The one common fault that everyone has complained about is the quality of the accessories. This may not be an issue with the company or the manufacturer, but it is a problem when you go to use some of the accessories and they are not functioning like you would like them to.
Something else you will have to get used to is the fact this is a canister vacuum and it will take some getting used to that you are using a canister instead of anything else. Once you get over this fact, it will be easy for you to use the canister and treat the hose like you would the cord that it plugged into the wall for the regular vacuum that you would be using.
Our Final Take
You are probably thinking that we have fallen in love with this Miele S8380 and you would be correct in your thinking. We have fallen in love with it because it is going to be a vacuum that is going to be able to take care of most of the dog hair that your pet leaves behind. However, what is going to be even better is the fact that the pet hair is going to be pulled out of the floor and it is going to be easy for you to get the hair moved out of your carpet or in some cases the hard floors. I know that I have both type of flooring in my home and really hate to deal with the dog hair on the hard wood floor because it is nearly impossible for me to get off of the floor. When you look at this you will see the power that is present in the Miele S8380 and the fact that it is going to seal in all the dog dander, it will be easy to see why this is one of the best vacuums on the market for the owners of dogs.
