What Is The Difference Between Package Levels?

You will find that you are going to be able to get the package that you want to have and know that you are able to get some channels. The main difference is the programming you are going to get. However, as you find out I would recommend combining the packages as you are going to get the best of both worlds and have a wider selection of channels to pick from. However, both of the packages are priced the same and if you do opt to combine the packages you do get, at the time of this publishing 10 bucks off the combined price.

Can You Combine Package Levels?

Yes, this is one thing that you are going to actually like about the Sling package. That is the fact that you are able to combine the packages you have access to and know that the sports channels are going to be around. Remember if you keep the packages separate you will have some problems in getting the sports channels as for some reason the sports channels are split on the packages and this makes it harder for you to find the sports channel you want to watch and basically forces you to buy the combined package.

Do I Keep My Sports Channels?

I have to say this really depends on which ones you are looking for. I know for the most part you can find the best of which cost 40 bucks to be the best deal and way to keep your sports channels and potentially get a few that you may have never heard of before. With that being said, I will say that you are going to love the fact that you are able to get the sports channels. The best part is the sports channels are the ones that you are going to enjoy.

What Do I Like With Sling?

I like the fact that this is a streaming service that does have the sports networks available for you to watch. However, the downside is unless you upgrade to the 40 dollar package you have to pick and choose which of the sports networks you want to have as they have them split up onto the two different lower priced packages so I really do not like that, but love the fact that you can actually have the sports channels you can watch.

The inclusion of some of the local channels is something else that I really like. While I did not find CBS nor ABC listed in the channels, I did see my local NBC and Fox affiliate. So this really helped me out in getting to enjoy some of the shows, but not all of the shows that I was looking forward to watching during the day.

What Do I Dislike With Sling?

Okay, I have to say that one of the main things that I do not like with Sling is a lot of the channels that I actually watch are in different packages and even in the combined package are still not available. Which means I have to look into their five buck a month add-on packages. Then I see some of the channels are available and that means instead of paying the 25 bucks or 40 bucks a month I have to spend an extra five bucks just to get the channels that I wanted to get in the first place. So that is a major drawback for me when it comes to the live television streaming service here.

My Final Thoughts On Live Streaming Shows With Sling

I have to say Sling is one of the networks that has been around for quite a while. This does not mean that it is the best service and for some they will say it is awesome and others it sucks. For me, I am in the middle on this one. While I do like some of the packages with Sling, I did find it to be a little bit difficult to use at times. I also did not like the fact to get what I would consider a basic channel like TruTv you had to pay extra. So that was definitely a challenge for me, because I like my comedy shows and found it easier with that being the case to go out and buy the seasons off of Amazon to get what I wanted to watch. For my kids, the extra payment to get the kids channels was an issue and one they did not care for as to get the Boomerang Network we had to pay extra. Overall, if you want to have quite a few channels that are nice, but do not cost you a fortune then you may find this service to be good. If you want all the channels are you used to, then you may end up being disappointed in the Sling Streaming Television service.
