Best Front Tine Tiller For Under 300 Bucks
When you are in the market for a front tine tiller for your garden you need to realize it is going to cost quite a bit of money. This is when you should know more about the fact that you can find some affordable tillers, but it may be more difficult than what you are thinking. Well, I know that this is a challenge which is why I decided it was time for me to go out and try to find a front tine tiller that I figured would work decent for your needs and still allow you the money to plant a garden later on in the year. That is why we went out and found the best front tine tiller for under 300 bucks. That tiller comes back to the Earthquake 20015 as the best tiller we could find for under three hundred dollars.
Features Of The Earthquake 20015 Front Tine Tiller
- This has a tool-less removal of the outer tines which is going to take the tiller and make it into a cultivator rather quickly. So this will allow you to have a couple of tools in one and that is going to make it easier for you to have a great set that you can use.
- This is a unit that is going to be a little bit on the lighter side. Since this is lighter it will make it easier for you to move it around the garden. Then you will be able to get all the tilling done with the single machine, which is a great feature for you to use and definitely helps out in getting the garden tilled even the corners.
- The center of gravity of this unit is going to be lower to the ground than what you would see with some of the other models. This will make it easier for you to have a tiller that is not going to easily tip over on you nor will it have any of the issues that you would expect with a top-heavy or off center tiller.
What I Like With The Unit
Lightweight Makes It Easy To Move
Well, I do like a tiller that has some weight because it means it will be digging down into the ground. At the same time, though, I like the fact this is a lighter tiller and it is one that you can easily move around the garden. So this is definitely a great option when you are looking for a tiller that can be used by almost anyone in the family.
Stability Makes It Easier To Handle
The lower center of gravity definitely improves the stability of the product. The problem is this is also going to make it a lot easier for you to handle. So you will not have to be concerned about the tiller getting turned over on you or even getting torqued out of your hands because of the way that it is bouncing you around.
What I Disliked
Quick And Tool-less Removal Of Outside Tines
This is a feature that I am sure someone thought it would be a great idea and it is typically using a cotter key. However, in my experience these are a real pain and for some reason no matter what I do the cotter key always comes loose unless you bend it over and this will disqualify it from being a tool-less options. So I will have to say this is the one thing that I dislike.
My Final Thoughts On The Earthquake Front Tine Tiller
Well, I have to say this is a tiller that made our five best list already. However, what you are going to find is this is a tiller that is going to be a little bit lower in the price range compared to more of the front tine tillers. Overall, I would have to say the Earthquake front tine tiller is easily one of the best front tine tiller for under 300 bucks.
