Panasonic Cordless Phones With Answering Machine
Panasonic Cordless Phones With Answering Machine

Finding a cordless phone may seem like it is old fashioned as many people are relying on their cell phones to handle all their phone calls. Well, I know that some people live in an area where the cell service is horrible and they do not get reception. With that being the case I decided it was time to do another segment in our cordless phone reviews. In this case we are talking about the Phones with the model for this instant being . It is important to note that we are talking about the as the company has produced multiple models.

Features Of The Panasonic  Cordless Phone

  • Cordless phone with 4 handsets that is expandable to 6 handsets.
  • Ability to block 250 numbers.
  • Voiced messages as to who is calling.
  • Has a speakerphone you can use.

What I Like With This Cordless Phone

Blocks Unwanted Numbers

I simply love this feature. I found that a lot of the phone calls that I started to get was nothing more than scam, telemarketers, or the robo-calls. Well after getting about 5-10 per day all from the same exact number it got to be really old. I have to tell you that I even went to the length of unplugging my phone for hours on end when I knew the calls would be bad. Well, with this feature I am able to block up to 250 numbers from calling me. That is a great feature and one that I love and make great use of.

Can Be Expanded To Six Handsets

While I normally do not have to take advantage of this aspect it is nice to know that it is available. The expansion of the cordless phone systems really helps out quite a bit for larger families. This means it is going to be easier for you to get the phones and if you need more than the 4 handsets that are included it can be expanded to 6 handsets. This, in turn, makes it easier for you to get the handsets that can be fitted to almost any room in your home, which is great if you have kids and need to have a phone in their own room.

Has Text To Speech Call Announcement

The Panasonic phone system does have a caller id which is standard on phones anymore. So you do not have to get the surprise as to who is on the other end of the phone. With that being the case, you are going to love the feature that is here and that is the speech announcement on who is calling. This makes it easier for you to know who is calling without having to look at the phone screen itself.

What I Did Not Care For

Very Easy To Hit Buttons While On Phone

When I am on the phone one of the worst things that I can do is hit a button which either causes the loud sound of the buttons or messes up the calling. What is even worse is the fact that the buttons can even hit your call waiting button when you do not expect it to and that can lead to some awkward conversation if you are not careful and do not notice when the flash button was pushed.

What Others Are Saying

One reviewer on Walmart actually had this to say about the phone, “good value and works very  well”. So you can tell that this reviewer mentions that it works very well, which is what we found as well. However, our main complaint as mentioned is we easily hit the buttons when we are on the phone.

Shavonne, on Walmart, had this to say about the phones, “the numbers are easy to press”. This brings back what I harped on before and that is the fact that the buttons are easy to push, but at the same time I found the buttons are too easy to press and for me that means I can press them when I am on the phone.

My Final Thoughts On The Phone With Answering Machine

Well, I have to say that if you are looking for a phone that has all the basics and some extra features then you cannot really go wrong here. When you look at this phone it is very easy to see that the appearance is modern and sleek. At the same time, though, the phone has a modern and lightweight feel. For me, if you are looking for a basic phone that makes your phone calls and handles the incoming calls nicely, but allows you to block the annoying robo-calls this is definitely the phone for you. It has all the basics and is fairly easy to use, which is why I say if you are looking for a basic phone then you may want to consider the Panasonic Cordless Phone with the answering machine.
